The Saint-Euphrône church

Saint-Euphrône is a small village located a few kilometers away from Semur-en-Auxois. Its name is that of a bishop of Autun.

The Saint-Clément parish church is dates back to the XIIIth century. It has also undergone modifications in the XVIth century.

Classified historic monument, painting from the XVIIth century, baroque altarpiece – painting XVIIth (la Cène) in its original frame. The church also possesses an important tribune from the XVIIIth century.

Inside the church, you can find many statues such as Saint Clément from the XVIth century or Saint-Euphrône from the XVIth century.

Close to the church, in the cemetery, you can find some curious gravestones of seven priests.
